Oh, yes. George and I remember those days, I'm sure. My husband hired a typist to type his dissertation--before we met--but I had to type my term papers, and you probably did,too, didn't you, George? And there was no such thing as erasotape or liquid paper. If you made even one mistake you had to type the whole page over. And at th is point in my school careeer, there weren't even electric typewriters. And if you wanted or had to make copies, you had to use carbon paper, which went between two cheets of tyhping paper. If you weren't careful about how you put it in, the copy came out in mirror writing on the wrong side of the original page so you had to type that over. At least we didn't have to worry about losing the whole paper when almost done because we forgot to Save, as my daughter did in high school a few times. You'd think she'd have learned after the first diaster, but no.
