Hi Julie. Your note reminds me of times I was in New York City and my cousins were doing sighted guide for me. People would frequently blow the horn when we were walking. Every time I asked my cousin what was wrong she wouldn't say a thing. Then one day when I heard here make a sound under her breath when this occurred, I asked her if they were honking because they thought we were lesies. She said yes. Then I asked my boyfriend at the time who was blind if the same thing happened to him when guys were guiding him and he of course said no.
