Hey, Sue.
Congrats on getting a scanner. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and I
love it.
As a new scanner, the best advice I can give is to not get discouraged when
every character in your scan isn't perfect.
And to ask for help. Getting help from more experienced submitters saves so
much time, as opposed to fiddling with all of the scanner and OCR settings
yourself.
