Where do you get this notepadex program? I don't really like editing in
Kurzweil, but I'd like to edit with a program that retains the page breaks
that Kurzweil puts in when scanning.

Hi Joanie,

I use notepadex too for .txt files, and it does retain the page
breaks. I use window eyes and if I look with the arrow keys where a
page break should be, it says ascii twelve. Not sure what it says with
Jaws. But I know Open Book saves with page breaks, and if you try
opening one of your .txt files in Open book and it doesn't say that
there's only one page, you can be sure they're there.

Pam
