Thanks, Sue, I did use the Power Braille 40 with Screen Power quite a few years ago. But I don't expect I'll be able to use it that way again because I don't think that would work on a Windows computer. I expect I'll be using Window Eyes in the not too distant future, although that isn't certain yet.
Thanks again. Evan----- Original Message ----- From: "siss52" <siss52@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Evan, You can run Window Eyes with the Powerbraille 40. Also, there is a DOStext-based program called Screenpower. I don't know if you can get that oneanymore, but it came with my Powerbraille and I used it on a DOS computer. Hope this helps, Sue S.----- Original Message ----- From: "Evan Reese" <mentat1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 26, 2007 11:15 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] OT: Power Braille QuestionI seem to recall reading that some people here have mentioned that they usethe Power Braille, although I'm not sure of specifics - except for I think Sue S - and I was wondering what else - if anything - it works with in addition to JAWS. So I would be curious to find out what anyone else isusing it with. I am especially interested in knowing whether Window Eyes canrun it, but anything else might be useful. I have a Power Braille 40 here and I need to find out what options I have to operate it beyond JAWS, if there are any. Thanks for any input.
