My daughter and I have used Readiris in two different machines but we've
both had problems with it not working. I haven't contacted their support
about it yet and I'm not as good at tinkering with a Mac as I am a PC. I've
also used the HP software that came with my HP all-in-one printer and it
works great. Please let us know about your experiences with investigating
OCR software for Mac.

Do you know how well it works with VoiceOver? Does it put a "Scan" menu
item into word processors like that in OpenOffice (which works great with
