Evan,

The novella A New Spring was written between books 8 and 9 then turned into
a novel which was released between books 10 and 11. It's set 20 years
before the time of the first book. Jordan had plans to write three of what
I've heard referred to as the prequel books, but I don't know if he'll do
that now.

If you'd like more info, then look up Jordan on Wikipedia.

HTH

Gerald

Robert Jordan wrote some of his series books out of order? I am curious
about that. Not disputing you, since I don't know that he didn't, just
would like to know the specifics. Are you talking about the Wheel of Time
books, or the Conan books, or another series I haven't heard of?

Thanks.

Evan
