Both Judy S. and Monica, I think, posted answers that would be more useful than mine. smile I think MOnica said you could use Kurzweill if you put the Windows into the Mac. I scan with an Epson 1660 that has the Fine Reader OCR and it works nicely. I do my validating with Microsfot Word for the Mac which converts to rtf.
