[bksvol-discuss] Re: O_T White canes and crutches

Oh, Shelley, not fun. I broke my leg and was on crutches for twelve weeks. It actually got fun, but I was going faster than the people I was walking with. You sort of feel what's ahead of you before you swing forward.

I also thought of painting my crutches red and white, but never got around to it.

The odd thing was that although I was eager to get rid of them, I'd grown sort of dependent on them and was a little scared to go without them.

Sorry about the ankle. I've never broken one, but sprained many, many times. Good luck.

Hi all,

Shelley, I haven't had to navigate with cane and crutches, but wanted to wish you a speedy recovery.
