If anyone wants to find out about the Bay Area (and yes, the Bookshare
office is in Palo Alto), I would recommend checking out Craig's List
(http://sfbay.craigslist.org/). You can find rental costs, jobs, things to
buy, things to sell, whatever you'd like there.  Wonderful website!

Isn't that where the bookshare office is? There are
areas around the city, but yes, rents and housing
probably is high, but my brother just sent an article
about prices dropping. Besides, it's possible you
could share an apartment, unless you prefer living
alone. When my elder daughter lived in S.F. she had a
lovely apartment with two other young women--they
hadn't known each other before but got along well.
