[bksvol-discuss] Re: O T Obtaining cartridges from APH to be used in NLS player.

What it comes down to is that any software or files that is preinstalled on the thumb drive at all will give you trouble. It needs to be completely clean. The most consistent reports of one that works best are of the Kingston Data Traveler and that is what I am using, so I can attest to it myself.

black, brown nor red. When you are dealing with humanity as one family,
there's no question of integration or intermarriage. It's just one human
being marrying another human being, or one human being living around and
with another human being.... The worst form of a human being, I believe, is
one who judges another human being by the color of his skin."

I've heard of people having trouble with thumb drives that have U3 software on them, and those that have usage meters.

I tried to use a perfectly good 8 gb memory stick with my NLS player, and it didn't work. NLS is unable to give me a satisfactory reason why it doesn't work. In my not so humble opinion, NLS just needs to fix their code! You shouldn't need a special cartridge to use with that player.

Thanks Ann and Susan. I'll give them a call.

I just received a letter, yesterday, telling me that I should receive my DTB
player soon. *smile*
