[bksvol-discuss] Re: Number of books

Hi Cindy,
Janice was disappointed when I told her I was only a sophmore in college...I think she would have liked to see an application from me. Believe me if I was just getting out of college I would definitely take the opportunity to apply.

Janice said she looked at lots of other eBook production job descriptions when her and Gustavo wrote the role of Collections: Manager

Boy--I read the requirements needed and the job duties
of the positions. I suppose the new generation of
graduates, like you, and perhaps some experienced
people like Gerald could fit, but to me, if I were in
the market for a job, the only one I could even think
of would be the Office manager--and that sounds like a
fun job--but none of those jobs included, unless I
did't read carefully enough, approving books or
updating the lists. The Manager: Collections person
would be too busy doing everything else required.
sigh; sad smile

Hi again Cindy,
I forgot to mention that the Benetech website
has the new role of
Manager: Collections for hiring. Gustavo has it
linked on the Volunteer Home
Page which he updated a few days ago.
The role is different from the one Jessie and
Marissa have filled in the
past, but still keeps in mind managing the
volunteers.

HTH,
