Cool, I love stuff about the Great lakes. Shelley L. Rhodes, M.A., VRT And Guinevere: Golden Lady Guide Dog guidinggolden@xxxxxxxxx Guide Dogs for the Blind Alumni Association www.guidedogs.comThe people who burned witches at the stake never for one moment thought of their act as violence;
rather they thought of it as an act of divinely mandated righteousness.The same can be said of most of the violence we humans have ever committed. -Gil Bailie, author and lecturer (b. 1944)

Hi all, Just submitted to be proofread "Islands: Great Lakes Stories" by Gerry Volgenau. Read through and corrected, headers stripped, page numbers and chapter titles protected. Lots of Native American words but they seem to have come out okay. 261 pages. From the book jacket: Most people are stunned to learn that there are some 35,000 islands in the Great Lakes, ranging from a large stone with its top above water level to the world's largest freshwater island, Manitoulin. Islands: Great Lakes' Stories focuses on 18 of these islands with their histories and personalities. Enjoy!
