Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Next Meeting of the Horror Book Club

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all who attended the kick off for the horror book club. It was a pleasure exchanging ideas and talking about the future of this exciting endeavor.

The next meeting of the horror book club will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, 6:00 p.m. Pacific.

The meeting will take place in the Bookshare Community chat room, which can be found at:
http://67.19.90.10/masteradmin/room.asp?id=rs7867a2369e0e

The book up for discussion this month is:
The Ruins
by Scott Smith

Book Synopsis: Four American friends on vacation in Cancún, Mexico-Jeff, Amy, Eric and Stacy-meet a German tourist, Mathias, who persuades them to join his hunt for his younger brother, Henrich, last seen headed off with a new girlfriend toward some ruins. The four soon regret their impulsive decision after they find themselves lost in the jungle and freaked out by signs that they're headed for danger.

Whether you are a longtime horror junkie, or you are looking to get hooked, we do hope you will come and enjoy some stimulating conversation.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or any other contributions you'd like to make towards the club's evolution, write to Scott Blanks at:
