Yes, I can confirm that Iceberg was once available on Bookshare.org and had to
be withdrawn. I can also confirm that the only problem's we're encountering
with overwritten synopses are in the cases of submissions replacing previously
available books. It's a challenge we're still working on.

If I recall correctly, that was Iceberg, by Clive Cussler.

can you give me the title? it may be that the book had been previously
submitted, even if it does not appear to be available currently.

OK, that is excellent if it is the case. But I submitted a book including
synopsis. Then did my own publishing. At the 2nd upload, the synopsis were
lost, and so were the categories assigment. There may be more than meets the
eye.

Guido:
I don't think you are correct here. I'm not sure I understand your assessment
of the issue; however, the only time that a validator's synopsis changes will
be lost, as far as i know, are in the cases of replacement books that Pam
describes.

When that happened to me for the first time, I figured it was because
I was replacing a book and the original did not have a synopsis. Guess
that wasn't the case then.
