Thank you so much Cindy :-)

Don't feel any pressure. We all remember what it's like to be a student. The
nice thing about being a volunteer is that 's something yu can do when you have
time, e.g., during summer or a nother vacation, or if you have a few hours on a
weekend with nothing due and you want a break from studying.

Thank you Cindy, I really appreciate it. I am so excited about finally
being able to voluteer. I asked to be a volunteer a few months back but have so
bogged down with homework assignments and research and literature papers that I
couldn't find the time. Hopefully, I can get quite a few proofreads done before
the summer semester starts. :-)

Welcome, Dornetta. Most happy to have you join us.
When a person has scanned a book that someone else has wants to proof,
the scanner adds Hold for to the title. For example if you want to proof the
book Deborah Murray just submitted, which, since she's pre-proofed it looks
like it will be an easy book for you to proof, you could now ask Carrie (
Carrie Carrie K.@ benetech.org to put a hold on it for you. (since it's already
b een submitted. Had you known in advance Deborah was going to do it and you
were interested in the subject you'd have asked Deborah to put a hold oon it.
However, it's easy enough for Carrie. one of the bookshare administrators , to
do it. smile

        Hello everyone!
I am a new volunteer and just complete reading through the manual and
finally checked out my first book-YEA!! I was reading through the table
and
saw that many of you have placed books on "hold"...so can you guys tell
me
how that is done. I can't seem to figure it out.
        Thanks,
        Netta
