I just finished a book that had chapter headings in the middle of pages. 
And yes, that is what I did after checking with Mayrie Renae.  (smile)

I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but did we decide that if
we had a chapter beginning in the middle of the page, we would put asterisks
on the line above the heading and again on the line after the heading in
order to basically preserve blank lines. TIA. Jill
