Hi, Judy, Kim here. I don't see why the folks at Bookshare couldn't be
notified to let them know that they should fix their tools, especially if
you or I wish to read books as Braille books. I download stuff from
Bookshare as brf files because they use less memory. Regards, Kim aka
Ellinder.

Evan, thanks for bringing up this problem. I haven't run into this word
splitting in any DAISY book I've downloaded in the last few months since the
new site went live, and I've downloaded several hundred.

I used to read entirely from brf books. However, I've quit downloading
braille books from Bookshare. Once the new site went live, the brf files
were riddled with errors that Bookshare was introducing, and I lost patience
trying to figure out if it was a a bad scan that got through, poor proofing
that got through, or errors in Bookshare's translation tools. So now I only
download daisy books, and translate them from xml into text.
