Ok, well you don't have to use a workflow. I have one but I find I do it manually anyway (rather than clicking the first box which would start the work flow, I click scan, then when I'm done with however many pages I want, I click the box with multiple columns no tables [which is the format I usually choose to OCR] and then when I'm done I just click the copy to clipboard box. Try doing that instead of exporting and see if you get better results. You can go under Process, Export results, Copy to clipboard if you don't have it in a work flow.
