Hi, Jill, I'm wondering about what I can do about my BrailleNOte. I think you have an mPower 32, don't you? Do you know anything about the Braille settings? I'm not trying to bug Bookshare if there's something I can do from my end. Instead of stressing about it, I find myself making corrections in the cookbooks I care enough to save. I haven't read one yet that hasn't had some braille problems. I am especially aware of this 4,5,6 addition in wweb addresses. I think Shelley is right about the reasons for this, but that doesn't mean we have to like it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Kim <mailto:kimfri11@xxxxxxxxxxx> Friedman To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, December 27, 2009 9:49 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] More crotchets about Braille Hi, my BrailleNote translates the slash with a three-dot combination (dots 4-5-6) which someone remarked is an underscore sign. I hate that sign before the slash, so if there was any way to get rid of that I would be very happy indeed. Also for the word cup, I see no need for a capital sign (dot 6) before the letter C . just make sure there is a period after the letter.
