Thanks for the support. These kinds of proposed projects seem to
be the creation of academic types, and also for the benefit of promotion,
but don't really address what BookShare could do best -- bring us best
sellers quickly,
the wide variety of monthly club selections, and other timely material.
Ideally, BookShare should strive for both kinds of projects as both would
offer benefits.
But, prior to undertaking further projects, BookShare, in my view, first
must figure out a more efficient and timely means of both validating and
then final approving books.
It does little good to have scanned Oprah's monthly selection and then
have sit in an administrative cue until Mother's Day.
