Allison, in an earlier message I plainly stated why Power To The People was
not processed by Book Share. Perhaps you missed my message so I'll state it
again. Carrie plainly stated that she deliberately did not include Power To
The People because Laura Ingraham's books raised her blood pressure.
Although I genuinely respect her right to dislike certain authors, I felt
then and still feel now that Power To The People should have been processed
in house because it was number one on the list. Just to be clear, this was
not a message sent privately to me but to the entire list. This makes her
reasoning a bit more official in my opinion. I will be interested to read
Book Share's policy regarding this matter when it is finalized.

Hi everyone,
I think we're all missing one obvious possibility here. The exclusion of
Power to the People may have just been an oversight. It may have simply
been forgotten or overlooked. There are a lot of best sellers each month,
and I'm sure that purchasing each one must be rather complicated. It's very
easy to just accidentally miss a couple. I doubt that the absence of any
book is indicative of some sort of deeper Bookshare conspiracy to exclude
books with certain controversial opinions. Really guys... Bookshare
censorship? C'mon. It's just not likely. I'm disappointed that several
people on this list just jumped to the conclusion that Carrie purposely left
out Power to the People. You didn't give her the benefit of the doubt, you
never asked her why it wasn't in the collection, you just assumed that she
had a personal reason for not getting that book. I feel that that
assumption is highly unfair.
