Thanks. I am hoping Voiceover which is the builtin screen reader for Macs will read blank lines before or after a page break or will actually say page break so I know if they are there or not.

I'm a Mac user and you're correct. Save your word document as rtf when you're finished proofing. It always opens in Word butI upload it as an rtf file with an rtf extensionHave fun. I proofread a couple of books a couple of years ago and then got out of doing it because life kind of got in the way but want to get back into doing it again. I know there are probably a lot of things that have changed since I last did it so need to go read the volunteer manual thing. I just checked out a book to start proofreading after I read some of the manual, but before I do all of that, I am using a Mac, so I am assuming that as long as I save in rtf it shouldn't matter if I am using a Mac or pc right?
