Hi all,
Yes, Cindy, I'll do that. Elise is a wealth of such info. She belongs
to a Reformed Temple, but she has studied Hebrew and belongs to a hmmm,
prayer group. There's a name for it, but it slips my mind at the
moment. I don't know as much about Judaism as I'd like to, although I
have a working knowledge because I live in Brighton. Brighton is a
suburb of Rochester, and during the fifties all the Jews who lived on
Joseph Avenue and environs in the city moved to Brighton. In fact, the
Brighton Central Schools take off for the High Holidays because there
are simply too many kids who do it anyway. Oh, there's a fair number
of goyim in Brighton, me included, but you can't help learning about
your neighbors and their religion if you're at all friendly or curious.
