The setting you want is under the  settings menu, under conversions.  It's
not intuitive to look there, and I had to have somebody tell me where to
look, too.  I think it was somebody on this list, too!  Under the
conversions setting, there are choices for the different file types, and
options for both opening and saving files.

That setting just skips the headers when you're reading I think. Btw, where
on earth is that setting for not splitting long pages? I needed it
desperately for my last validation, and since I couldn't remember the name
of it I couldn't even ask where it was.
