Speaking of books that are not that old, but are out of print, perhaps Pavi can find an answer for this. Attention Pavi! If I understand the copyright exception that allows Bookshare to exist correctly, all those books that Google has in electronic format should be perfectly legal for Google to supply them to Bookshare. Has anyone at Bookshare contacted Google about this? Is my understanding incorrect and it is not possible to be supplied with that tremendous pile of books? Exactly what is the deal with that situation? "Philosophers have merely interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it." I'm assuming you don't mean 1967. grin. Seriously, though, I think the older books are important to have on bookshare if they're not already on PG--and those have to be out of copyright.
