[bksvol-discuss] Re: Julian's Cat

Naw. Good scan, great clean-up.
<grin> Loved the book. I do not know why I never heard of it before this.
It's a classic. In fact all four of the books I did from her collection were
unknown to me and each great in its own way: Why We Love the Dogs We Do,
Julian's Cat, "Dawgs!" and The Dog Who Loved too Much.

  Hi Gary:

I found nothing wrong with your book. It was an awesome scan. I had no
corrections to make. Not even junk characters. The only thing I did was protect
chapter and section headers.
  I already approved it.

Thanks. I can think only of 2 things that I might or might not have done
that are now in my list of checks and corrections.
    Much appreciated.

      HI Garry:

I downloaded the book. I will look at it and let you know.

I'm perfectly willing to change my text, but as I thought I'd already
veted it thorroughly before I posted it, I'd prefer to hear from someone else
with a fresh perspective. I may be completely overlooking something and would
like to know what that is not only for this particular book, but also for
future submissions.
Thanks to anyone who takes the trouble to look at Julian's Cat and let
me know.
It's a kid's book and not all that long.

I agree, though I'd say less than 3 months. I'd say
one month. In the case of Julian's Cat, remembering
the discussion about a poem in it here on the list, I
opened it to see if it was Gary's book, and it is.
It's been released, probably accidentally, since it
was by the same person, numerous times, and then also
          by a "bookshare volunteer."

Gary, I didn't download the book and I didn't see any
comments, so I have no idea why it's back on page one.
Cindy Dresden or something like that is the person who
was working on it, and I don't think she's on this
list. I think Lissi, who kindly is not using the name
"Cindy" and I are the only Cindy's here--thouhh now
that I tink of it, I don't think I know her last name.
