Hi Elizabeth,
Seeing as part of the job description is to manage up to 15 in house volunteers I'd imagine you'd need to be in Palo Alto.

In addition they want someone who will be able to work with a wide variety of people, engineers included. While that can be conceivably done over a long distance, it certainly would be easier for the person to be on site. Just like Carrie has said, she can stand in front of the staff when there's a question that needs to be addressed *grin*

Hi Liz, Our presence on the volunteer list with the Liz names was what led me to adopt E. as a signature. So glad you are back!!

I am applying. I want to know if the job holder needs to be physically near the bookshare office in California. Anyone know? I wrote Gustavo.
