See if the window you are in is maximized. Do alt-spacebar and then x and see what happens. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tracy Carcione Sent: Thursday, February 11, 2010 9:23 AM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Jaws not reading whole line in Word I am having an odd problem with the book I am trying to proofread. Jaws is not reading the entire line. It reads the first half or so. Then, if I go to the end of the line, it reads the last half. I am using Word 2003. I have tried setting all the margins to 0. I have searched for column breaks--there aren't any. I've compared the font info of letters before Jaws stops with letters after that point, and they're exactly the same. I've tried maximizing the screen. Nothing has worked. I opened the file in K1000, and it read the file fine, but I really don't want to do the work in K1000. I don't want to be chained to the one computer that has K1000, among other considerations. Why is Jaws behaving in this odd way? Thanks for any ideas.
