Cindy, you said "Below are the books:, the books weren't there. Sounds like something I'd do. <grin>

Question:

A lot of people address question to the bookshare staff through the medium of this list. Do they read it? And, even if they do, I doubt they can keep up on a daily basis.

A comment about the books which were added to the collection yesterday. I know a lot of people are probably frustrated that books which have been languishing ont he queue haven't been added, but I personally was pleased to see that a lot of current books were added to the collection. This is very important. Access to current books is something blind people did not have before the advent of electronic media.

Below are the books listed on Jake's site as having

Robinson--presumably added April 25.

The only two that were on my Administration Queue list
are the first two. I assume, therefore, that those
books were validated and uploaded since the last
Marissa's List publication and by people who don't
subscribe to this list or post on what they're working
on on this list.

Gustavo, I think it would really make volunteers feel
a lot better about the work they're doing if you could
somehow approve from the beginning of the list, the
books that have been sitting on it the longest,
instead of the more recent books. At the rate people
keep validating and uploading books for approval,
neither you nor John will get to the books that have
been sitting in the queue for a long time. Is there
any way that can be done? Some people, excellent
volunteers, are getting discouraged and talking of
dropping out, and it would be a shame to lose them.
