[bksvol-discuss] Is there a final word on paragraphs?

Hi,

I've noticed that some .brf files have the standard paragraphs, a
linebreak and two spaces, while others have none. Some of my
submissions are the unfortunate victims of being stripped of paragraph
indicators. If I look at one of those in the daisy format vs. one that
translated into braille correctly in the daisy format, I can see no
difference. In those, a paragraph is just indicated by a linebreak.
When I submit, I indicate paragraphs with two linebreaks, which has
apparently served no useful purpose as the stripper removes one of
each linebreak pair. But I can't understand why if there's at least
one present, the braille translator doesn't see it as a paragraph. So
what must your braille translator see to know that this must be
translated as a new paragraph? Now that I think I've tackled the
chapter headings issue, I need to work on this.

Pam
