    Wow, talk about a word hunt! I'm not sure about any great resources
online. What you might try doing is Googling the word in question to see if
any pages that are relevant to the context appear.
Also typing the word define followed by a space and the word in question
into Google should produce definitions Google found while indexing the web.
I have no idea how accurate this Google feature is but it is worth a shot
