"To me, music that breaks your heart is the music that stays with you
forever. It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be
sophisticated, but when you get the two of them together in a way
people can relate to, then I think you're on to something. You want
the sophistication to lie in the purity of the sound, the beauty of
the arrangements, and the quality of the performances."-Trumpeter

For those who have been following we have been collecting short biographical
essays from volunteers. These will be used to introduce new volunteers to
Bookshare.

Below meet someone you already know from the list, Robert Tweedy.

My name is Robert Tweedy. I use Kurzweil for scanning and proofreading.

I had a hard time finding children books to read to our daughter who is sighted
so finding print/Braille books was hard to find so I figure I could help
Bookshare with books so other parents would have an easier time finding books
for children and teenagers. Bookshare is a good source for reading and
reference books was my second thought and this reason consists of two reasons.
I was told growing up that I would be good helping others and by using the
equipment for my own enjoyment why not help others so that is the main reason I
got into scanning.

But the best thing of all is everybody benefits in what I do for Bookshare.
