Oh, I hope you are right Mayrie. That would be fantastic.Does anyone have any conclusions concerning page numbers (top, bottom, nonexistent)?Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: <mayrierenae@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, March 28, 2009 2:47 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Interesting findingHi Everyone, The only book that I looked at proofread by Laura Ann whose chapter headings were not preserved were chapter headings represented only by arabic numerals 1 2 3 and so on at the beginning of each chapter. Given the rest of our findings, I'll bet that if those chapters that are represented only as arabic numerals were to be preceded by the word Chapter, the chapter headings would stay. And that would be great! So, maybe, just maybe, we can conclude that protecting chapter headings is no longer necessary unless said chapter heading is a numeral only.
