Jackie,
If the first or last letters of each line in a book are cut off, its not worth 
your valuable time to mess with it. You should feel free to nuke it and post 
its title/author to the rejected scans section of the booksharescans 
website, so somebody else might come along and do a better job with their 
scanner technique. Nobody should have to spend hours playing let's guess what's 
missing on every line of a book!
