I know that I know what you mean about different ages for children.
But just a minute when I used to get talking books they would say some
explicet discriptions of sex or total explecit discriptions some strong
language or strong language, now if they do that that is all I meant I didn't
know if things were or were not marked like this I know if I don't like
something I stop reading it they do it in talking books what would be so wrong
with that that wouldn't be telling a person what and what not to read nor would
it be keeping your child from reading whatever they choose to read adult or
not that wouldn't stop anything it would just give us who wish it something to
go by that is all I meant. I don't care what you read or your kids and so on
read that is your call

  Hi Gwen,
Even if a book does not have adult content, that doesn't mean it is fit
material for a six-year-old child. You probably already know that different
children's books are designed for children of different ages. As for your own
personal reading, if you find a book that doesn't suit your taste or your sense
of right and wrong: it is up to you to stop reading the book. Don't depend on
the people from bookshare or your local library to determine which books are
suitable for you, because they can't do that.
  Mike

But I still have a further question.
Please don't misunderstand me. I am not! saying this is right or wrong nor
telling anyone what is good or not good to read That I want to make clear
right off the bat. But my husband and I read totally different books thus scan
totally different books. His books that he scans and reads not saying they all
do again don't misunderstand, but I know for a fact that this every wish
fullfilled that he just got put up it has explicit descriptions and language
but I can find it in my books even though I've said I want no adult content
what if a minor got hold of this book it says no adult content so going by that
anyone can read this book including my grand kids who are pre schoolers and
stuff.
What determines adult content I'm not saying it's good or bad but I'll be
doggone if I want to go into a book and find things I don't want to unexpected,
most of y'all this is not gonna care or make sense to but does anybody get
where I'm coming from?

      Hi Gwen!

It means that you will not see books labeled "adult content".

      Blessings.

If I go up and make sure my settings are set to no adult content,
does that mean when I go into the new books or brose any category that only
books with only no adult content will come up or will other books slip through?
