Hi Maithe,

I think you're barking up the wrong tree looking at security settings. If you were able to submit 3 books on different days it would indicate that the security settings are fine unless something has changed since you were successful.
If you are willing to give it another shot ...
1. If you have MS-Word, open you're RTF file, go to the file menu and select Save As, enter a file name of
c:\try.rtf
make sure RTF is the format, and click Save.
If you don't have MS-Word, do the same thing as stated above, but do it in you're copy of Openbook.
Make sure to include the BackSlash.

2. Go to the Bookshare submit form and fill in the title, author, copyright info.
Leave the ISBN and synopsis fields blank.
Make sure the file type of the submission is set to RTF.
In the file to be uploaded field enter-
c:\try.rtf

Then try to submit and see what happens.

My bet is either you're synopsis is too long, it doesn't like you're file name and can't find it, or the ISBN is out of whack. The file name you give it for the upload is irrelevant, as Bookshare's computer is going to give it a new one anyhow, and simple is best as it cuts down on inadvertent problems cropping up. As you are just at the submit stage, the validator can always add the ISBN and you can send them the synopsis if you wish, but it eliminates them as possibilities if you leave them blank. If you're patience is limitless give it a shot. Remember though, even if you send the books to Bookshare on a CD, you're still stuck with not being able to upload new scans until you figure out what's causing you difficulties.

I have changed the file names, taken away all punctuation, given the file name an rtf extension, shortened the file name...I give-up. I know all the information is correct as I made sure to go through the whole submission form when it was bounced back to me. I honestly don't know what else I can do. For now, I am not going to waste more time fighting with it. I am going to continue to scan and I will hopefully find another way to submit.

Yeah, I think it is time for more caffeine. *L*
