<lol> Roger, I don't think I'd admit that publicly lest you become a jiffy
scanner.

You can also resubmit it. I had one that was rejected even though I did not
see that it was all that bad, so I just resubmitted it without making any
changes. It was accepted into the collection the next go around.

  Hi Alyssa,

That's got to be frustrating. Sounds like the proofreader doesn't know about
soft page breaks and to ignore them. You can always write to
  volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
and tell them what you have told us.

I wish we could help all volunteers know all they need to know to proofread
well. But no one yet has learned all that there is to know.

I feel your pain. But it sounds like contacting somebody at bookshare is
definitely in order here. I'll bet it will keep your book from being rejected!

  Mayrie

I have also had a book rejected, and I feel this, again, could have been
something I could have been contacted about. In MS Word, it appears that pages
are split, thus causing the book to appear to have more pages than it does.
However, if one looked in Kurzweil, one could see this is not the case. I still
have a copy of the book in question, and there is absolutely nothing wrong
with it. Word just makes it appear otherwise.
