I like to picture this group of folks as a group of gnarled bearded monks
fastidiously scanning and double checking (validating) books for
posterity.
For the most part we spend silent meditative days turning "die" into "the"
and praying over the inner meaning of a broken bar.
or, just praying for insight into an ancient author's wishes. However,
following
evening vespers, we slink snuffling from our cells to debate the various
merits of techniques, debate prayerfully over how many scannos can fit on
the page of a book, and to curse the evil satan-spawned stripper tool.
So, are you sure you really want to join us?
