Dear Volunteers, Just wanted to say hi after that warm intro by Lisa. Greetings All! I am definitely still in "learning the ropes" mode here, but am enjoying the process and am glad to say that I now know among other things, that a Stripper, while notorious in its own fashion, is not nearly as scandalous as it sounds (smile). As a recent addition to both lists I have been delighted and humbled by the practical wisdom, advice and support you are able to source from each other. I look forward to helping in the ways I am able. Where you have volunteer-related suggestions, thoughts, or questions that you feel would benefit from a response from Bookshare please feel free to contact me directly at pavi.m@xxxxxxxxxxxx I will do my best to locate and share answers. Thank you for your patience with me in these initial weeks as I find my footing. I am truly looking forward to our interactions! All good things, Pavi Mehta PS What's in a name? Pavi is short for Pavithra and is pronounced , not with a long 'a' but like Puffy except with a 'v' (Puvvy). Pavithra means 'Pure' in Sanskrit, while Pavi, with the long 'a' (Paavi), which is how most people here pronounce it here, means "Sinner" in Tamil, my mother tongue. Just so you know, I answer to all three versions. It helps keep my ego in check (smile) To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
