Hi, Christina, I don't think it does. At any rate, one of my pre-reading
procedures is to replace all smart quotes with the regular sort.
Regards, Kim.

Hi, Kim.
If this is for proofreading, doesn't the Bookshare tool replace all the
smart quotes with regular ones now? Christina

Hi, can anyone tell me how to make sure that regular quotations are
correct? Here's what I want. I wish opening quote marks to look like
they're supposed to look at the beginning of a conversation and closing
quotes to appear at the end. Sometimes when I'd be proofreading, I'd see
on my Braille display a mark at the end of a conversation that looks
exactly like the opening quotation mark in Braille. Is there any way I
can correct this? Keep in mind that before I start reading I've gotten
rid of all smart quotes. Thanks for the help. Regards, Kim Friedman.

I've not come across your situation, so I don't know if this will work
or not. I'd probably try this on a test file first. There is a character

for whitespace, which is ^w which might get rid of the blank lines after

the page breaks.
