Hurray for Aunt Book! She is a really wonderful person and an amazing children's librarian. She's the one who introduced me to the Cherry Ames books. smile.
This book is one I'll eagerly keep on eye out for when you get it and add it to the collection. I looked up the author, and I've read her book "North to Freedom," which was made into the movie "I Am David." That was an outstanding story, too.

All I remember is it was a kind of time travel book with the boy waking up in different time periods (think Scott Baccula in Quantum Leap). I think he was in ancient Greece and made a pair of glasses among his destinations and events, as an example.Any idea on how to find a children's book like that? It was probably around 200 pages or so. I read it in the mid or early 70's I would guess. I know, that is next to nothing to go on, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I would love to find and scan it for my 16 year old daughter,Nichole, who has cerebral palsy.Thank you for your time and consideration!Valerie Check out my kids at:http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/nicholemaples <new> http://www.caringbridge.org/ms/nicholemaples http://www.caringbridge.org/ms/cindymaples http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jorgemaples
