Yes, but it will take some manipulation. You'll have to tell k1000 to let jfw do the talking, and then configure jfw to tell you about indents.
But it can be done. Bob----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Petraccaro" <garyp130@xxxxxxxxxxx>

I'll remember that for when I buy JFW, but if I'm running K1000 will JFW be able to run successfully?----- Original Message ----- From: <james.homme@xxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 21, 2008 9:45 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Formatting PoetryHi, Versions of JAWS starting with 6 allow you to turn on the ability toautomatically tell you if a line is indented and by how much. If you buildthat into a sound scheme, you can switch to your homemade scheme and when you arrow to the indented lines, JAWS will speak them and tell you aboutthe indentations. Alternatively, you can just go into the verbosity dialogand turn it on and off if you don't want to go through the process of making the sound scheme. Thanks. This gets sticky when the poet indents lines for asthetic reasons as well. Sorry I can't give you an answer that will always be true. When doing a poetry book, how does one know when lines break because the poet wants it or when they break because a page is only so wide? ----- Original Message ----- From: <james.homme@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 9:55 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Formatting PoetryHi,I know this has been brought up here before, and I forget what the answerwas, so please forgive me. I downloaded some Robert Frost poetry to readand found that there was no break at all between stanzas, so knowing thatformatting would be a chore at best, I have steered away from validating poetry books. What does the stripper mess up about poetry and is thereanyway I can help it avoid doing that? Thanks.
