Hi Amy,
Your miserable experiences are actually not caused by the fact that the file
in question is an rtf. What's happening is that you're having issues
transferring files back and forth between programs, and add to that a pile
of strange display issues. One thing to keep in mind is that WordPad is an
extremely primitive bare-bones word processing program. It doesn't have
sophisticated features or options in any area, and that probably holds true
for display as well. If I were you, I would bet on Word Perfect and
concentrate on learning and getting help with that program, unless of course
you can get Kurzweil.
