Hi, Mary. You don't need to save as .kes. Kurzweil can work with .rtf, so if
that's the format you prefer, just keep it as .rtf. Take care.

Hello. Is it possible to download an RTF book, save it as KES to validate,
then re-save as RTF to upload? I just validated my first KES book and
really enjoyed validating in KES, but there is not a lot to choose from on
