Yes, it would certainly be nice. I think Bookshare has other priorities
that I believe should take precedence. Perhaps you might want to think about
creating a weekly e-mail yourself and posting it to the list.

That is how I find-out what the latest bestsellers are. However, I do know
that not everybody does this. Also, it is easier to store one little email
which everybody can access and discuss. It is just a thought. It would make
getting these bestsellers *all of them* on Bookshare.

Anyone interested, should check out the NYTimes.com web site. This
information is freely available if you're willing to setup a free account.

It would be great if every week's NY Times bestseller list could be
posted on this list. That way, if Bookshare does not get the books, we can get
them on our own. It would be a money saver and time saver all around.

If a book is published next week, hits the NYT bestseller list, then
falls off that list in two or three weeks, it won't make the March list. If
such a scenario presents itself, will Bookshare be able to make
middle-of-the-month purchases, so that all books which grace the bestseller
list that are not already part of the collection, will be added? This leads
logically to another question. Is Bookshare aiming to get *all* NYT bestsellers
into the collection? Or is this based on monetary limitations and/or other
criteria?

        Thanks,

        Scott

          Hi gang,

Here's the list of the bestsellers. Instead of putting in a huge
order once a month, I've been picking the books up as I stumble across them in
my wanderings around bookstores. I've included the status of each book after
the title so you can see where it is in the scanning and validation process.
