Fantasy Book Club Begins Friday, October 12, 2007
Time: 6:00 p.m. Pacific; 9:00 p.m. Eastern

Place: Friends Community Room at
http://conference321.com/masteradmin/room.asp?id=rs7867a2369e0e

Leader: Vapour Wiseblood, vapour@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Are you enchanted by elves and dragons? Do perilous quests to
find magical jewels or swords excite you? Does the epic struggle between
good and evil seem more real when magic and imagined worlds are involved?
Then join Vapour for the first meeting of the fantasy book club. While he
have some ideas on what will be the first book, he will take this
opportunity to get better acquainted and share experiences of what has drawn
the participants to the genre. The group then will decide on what the first
book will be. All are welcome, whether you have read all of Tolkien, or
Jordan, or Martin, or Weis and Hickman, or Alexander, or much of classical
fantasy, or are just getting your feet wet.
You will not want to miss the initial meeting of this interesting book club.
There are no membership requirements, no direct costs, no need to
pre-register, and no passwords required. All you need is a PC running
Windows 2000 or later, an Internet connection, a sound card, and speakers.
(Mac and Linux access coming soon.) Since this is an audio chat, a
microphone will be needed to allow you to interact audibly with the
presenter and each other but text chat is also available.

If you are a first-time user of the Accessible World online conferencing
software, there is a small, safe software program that you need to download
and run. A link to the software is available on the entry screen of each
room..
