Subject: [bksvol-discuss] FW: Poisoned Pen Press Has Signed Our Agreement

Hi everyone,

We received this exciting announcement today and wanted to let you know!
Poisoned Pen Press, one of the largest publishers of hardcover mysteries in the world, has signed our agreement, giving us world rights to their titles.  They are distributed by Ingram’s CoreSource and publish 36 books a year with a backlist of 365 titles in EPUB.  Founded in 1997 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Poisoned Pen Press is an independent publisher whose high-quality mystery titles have won Edgar Award Nominations and Ellery Queen Awards.  Their authors include Robert Barnard, Val McDermid (The Wire in the Blood), H.R.F. Keating, Susan Moody, Bill Tapply, Ruth Dudley Edwards, Robert Rosenberg, Nora Kelly, P.C. Doherty and Laurie R. King.  The Press was founded by the owners of Scottsdale’s Poisoned Press Bookstore who began the Press in response to seeing many mystery authors losing their publishers.  Their goal is to keep books in print that have been declared out of print as well as to publish new titles.
