[bksvol-discuss] Re: FW: A book you have recently uploaded requires further editing

Folks,

My point here was really to simply ask what were supposed to be the next
steps from the e-mail I received . That e-mail is not very clear and I'd
suggest Bookshare think about improvements of whatever part of it is
auto-generated to give next step ideas.

If there's a volunteer interested in fixing this book feel free to do so.
As I mentioned, I have neither the time or interest in making the
corrections. The book read well enough for me. I fully recognize my
standards may not be those of Bookshare's and respect their can be differing
views on the topic.

Thanks,

Kelly

It is upsetting though when you come across a book where neither the
submitter or the validator did their job. Why some submitters think that all
they have to do is run a book through the scanner and the validator should
do the rest is simply beyond me. A close relationship between submitter and
validator seems to be the answer, resulting in the excellent end-product
that we have now come to expect.
