Katie, I have been wondering the same thing--if the family has a memorial fund for him to which we could contribute, even if it is not for bookshare.org. We can do it, even though we are from all over, if we have an address. Maybe soomeone who is close to him would know what we could do. I remember teasing with him when he was on the list more when I first got on bookshare. My question is. Is there something we as a community can do for his family? Is there something we could do for bookshare, something that is needed, by contributing a gift in Gustavo name? I realize we are all over the country but with someone who has been with Bookshare from close to the beginning, it would be nice. Katie Hill You can learn a lot if you are humble enough to listen. Gustavo was the Site Manager for Bookshare.org, and was the foundation of our Bookshare.org team. He was involved in the rapid growth of our collection over the last four years through personally approving each book being added. Gustavo was fierce in his dedication to serving people with print impairments while getting it right, by taking our commitments to publishers and authors seriously. He had a formidable intellect, and his insights, understanding and sense of humor will be sorely missed by our team. We can honor Gustavo's commitment to access and books by doing our best to bring more books to more people with print disabilities around the world.
